A challenging slow-flow practice for those who enjoy strong, core-focused Yoga. We warm up with creative variations of Ashtanga-style sun salutations, move on to standing poses and twists, then explore a powerful series of core strengtheners - finishing (of course!) with deep relaxation. Best for strong, intermediate students. Not for beginners, those with spinal injuries or related movement restrictions, or conditions such as pregnancy.
FOR EXPERIENCED STUDENTS
Sarah Getz, E-RYT 500, is the director and founder of Yoga at Space. Sarah is a passionate student of Yoga who has been a Certified and Registered Yoga Instructor since 1994. After first practicing Yoga and working as a studio manager at Jivamukti in New York City, she studied many styles, focusing on the Ashtanga and Iyengar traditions. Sarah's current source of inspiration is Embodyoga®, the work of her teacher, Patty Townsend of Yoga Center Amherst. Sarah holds two 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certifications, two 500 hour Certifications, and is a Nationally Registered E-RYT 500 hour Yoga Alliance Instructor.
