Community classes are pay by donation ($5 - $20 sliding scale suggested). If you're new to our studio, please be sure to introduce yourself to your teacher before the start of class.
Sarah will lead a well-rounded, moderately paced flow class in which no weight will be placed in the hands and arms. No downward dog, no plank - not even tabletop! Instead, we’ll focus on enlivening our feet, legs, hips, and core, leaving our upper limbs unburdened. Perfect for those students who enjoy slow flow but prefer not to load the hands and wrists with weight bearing.

Sarah Getz, E-RYT 500, is the director and founder of Yoga at Space. Sarah is a passionate student of Yoga who has been a Certified and Registered Yoga Instructor since 1994. After first practicing Yoga and working as a studio manager at Jivamukti in New York City, she studied many styles, focusing on the Ashtanga and Iyengar traditions. Sarah's current source of inspiration is Embodyoga®, the work of her teacher, Patty Townsend of Yoga Center Amherst. Sarah holds two 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certifications, two 500 hour Certifications, and is a Nationally Registered E-RYT 500 hour Yoga Alliance Instructor.
