When we explore changing, shifting, and moving through places of change (shifting weight, orienting the head differently while walking, etc.), we begin to expand our capacity to adapt. We change our minds about how things should be, and learn to be with things as they are, while investigating ways to befriend our situation and move and breathe with ease. This class explores how we can cultivate flexibility of mind and ease of body, as we experience change and experiment with movements designed to nurture curiosity and delight. No experience with movement is necessary. Open to all. Please have bare feet and wear comfortable clothing.
Community classes are pay by donation ($5 - $20 sliding scale suggested). If you're new to our studio, please be sure to introduce yourself to your teacher before the start of class.
